City of Cats is an exchange letterbox created in North Carolina to celebrate the Charlotte Bobcats. It has found a home in the wilds of Massachusetts where it can be enjoyed by all—-basketball fan or not.
Clue:
Find Chmura Rd. off Route 47 between Hadley and South Hadley. It is on the north side of the Holyoke Range. Follow Chmura Rd. to the end and park. A wide trail leads into the woods from the parking. Follow this, staying on the main trail which is blazed in yellow. There are many mountain bike trails that enter from all directions but you want to continue on the main trail through the woods for awhile. It will enter a meadow that is being reclaimed by bushes and trees. The trail will start to go uphill and reenter the woods. Near the top of the hill, just after you enter the woods is a large white birch on the left and a huge split trunk white pine at the top of the hill on the right. The treasure is hidden behind the white pine. Cover it completely with forest debris. Bring ink and pen.
