To the Trailhead: From I-74, take the Oakwood/Potomac exit (#206) and head north on Newtown Road. You'll pass through the town of Newtown--don't blink! Shortly afterwards, you'll come to the intersection of 900E and 2250N. There is a brown sign reading "Middlefork State Wildlife Area". Turn right and drive to Parking Area 3.
Cross the road to the Hiker/Equestrian trail. Walk until you come to the (first) Equestrian trail on the left and turn onto it.
Down, Down, Down.
Up (see the boulder to your left?) up, up.
Start to go down again. Nine steps later, at the 'deepest' part of the trail
Look left, just below eye level.
Between three skinny trees, under a pile of bark.
Re-hide well, otherwise this will be in plain view from the trail!
