As you are traveling on Hwy 371 through Hackensack MN, you will see Lake Ave, Go West young man (or woman) and you will soon be greeted by Mr Bunyan's girlfriend Lucette, go ahead and climb the stairs to take a few pix with the "Large Lady".
As you climb back down from her perch take a walk toward the boat launch where you will see a "boatload" of signs, meander around the signs and take a couple steps to a tree with 3 or 4 trunks, and simply dig a little at the base on the East side to reveal the box.
