This box is best enjoyed in the spring through fall because of the amazing gardens and water views.

Tranquility is what you will find in this beautiful place. Once a private residence, the 12 acres of Enders Island were donated to the Catholic Church, who placed them in the hands of the Society of St. Edmund, priests and brothers, who have since used it as a place for healing and education. They have retreats here for men and women, families and ministers as well as classes in drawing, mosaics, stained glass, calligraphy, manuscript illumination, and gregorian chant (cool). It is truly an amazing place to walk and enjoy creation. ALL are welcome.

Directions: Exit 90 off I95 and follow Rte 127 East to Route 1. (Hint: pay attention here ;-) Take a left onto Rte 1 and follow several blocks to Mason's Island Road on the right. Follow Mason's Island Road over a small land bridge out to Mason's Island. You will come to a Gate House. (In the summer it may be manned and all you have to tell them is that you are going out to Enders Island. Don't be intimidated by the gatehouse or any private road signs. You have free access to Ender's Island. Mason's Island is a gated community that you have to go through to get to Enders. They mainly man the gate house in the summer to prevent tourist from wandering around Mason's Island) Continue straight on Mason's Island road after the gate house and then bear left at each intersection and follow the signs. You will pass several stop signs and the Mason Island Yacht Club as well as another land bridge. Park in the dirt parking lot on the left.

Clues: Walk around to the right of the parking area to the paved walk (not the paved road). Please take your time and enjoy the peacefulness of this place. The gardens are fantastic. You will note many stones and benches throughout the island dedicated to loved ones. You will walk past several buildings toward the original mansion. You want to go around to the right of the mansion and continue past it, out to the furthest most area of the island. You will come to a place where you will see 14 "stations" depicting the final hours of Jesus, along the west shore. To the right of the end "station" is a semi-circle of large stones, with boulders beyond. Look for your treasure at the base of the right side of these boulders next to the green bushes, hidden behind some smaller stones.
Please be considerate of others who may be present and use discretion when getting this box. Please re-hide well. Thanks for letting me introduce you to this amazing place.
You should continue around to the other side of the mansion through more gardens, past the chapel and then back to your car. For info about Enders Island check out: endersisland.com
