Hilltop Overlook
This is a drive-up letterbox
Please bring a ink pad and pen.
Franklin County 4H Fairground
Driving directions : Traveling on Westbound Indiana Route 52 going
toward Brookville watch for a road on your left just B/4 you enter
Brookville .
About thirty years ago this was a simple undeveloped Fairground Park
with nothing but one shelter. You could drive up to the overlook on a
gravel road.
Once you got to the top there was no place to stop ,or park back then.
Clues:
Follow the signs~
" To Hilltop Area ~One Way Up "
After reaching the Hilltop Overlook shelter
From the water source on the N-E corner of the shelter go Due East to #
18 .
From # 18 take a reading of 115 ยบ and look for a 4 foot tall stump
about 10 feet into the woods edge.
