To reach Upper Table Rock from I-5 North out of Medford: Take the Central Point Exit (Exit 33) east about 1 mile to Table Rock Road. Turn north (left) onto Table Rock Road. Proceed 7.6 miles, passing Tou Velle State Park. Turn east (right) and continue approximately 1 mile to the signed parking lot which you will see on your left. The trail to the top of Upper Table Rock begins there. There are some basic campground-style toilets at the trailhead.
If you are coming from the North (Grants Pass) Take exit 48 - Rogue River exit. Turn left, going under the highway, then an immediate left after crossing the RR tracks. Continue on Pine street, which becomes East Evans Creek Road.
If you haven't already, you may want to make a day of it and visit the other letterboxes planted along the way. (The list will follow.)
In approx. 21 miles, you will come to MEADOWS Rd., turn RIGHT. In approx. 7 miles, you will come to Hwy 234. Turn LEFT. At the blinking light, is ANTIOCH Rd.. Turn RIGHT. This dead ends at MODOC Rd. Turn RIGHT.
In a short distance, you will see the TRAIL HEAD for Upper Table Rock. For more information, visit the web site listed below.
