Lohmann Park Clue
Difficulty: Easy
Time: 30 minutes

A murder of crows
Eyes black and beady, alert
Watching you searching

Lohmann Park is located next to Thomas Paine Elementary School along Florida Ave just east of Philo Road. Park in the lot at the school and enter the park. Travel counterclockwise, toward the 9th hole of the disc golf course. At this point, turn south and travel down the aisle between the trees. Keep the stump on your right. In a grove of trees, you will find a small building and the tee for 8th hole. Continue counter-clockwise around the course until you arrive at the first hole. As you walk, a murder of crows most likely watches. Listen to their caws and watch them as they watch you. They are especially loud at the southern and eastern sides of the park; the closer you get, the louder they get. Find the tee for the first hole. Stand beside the #1 on the sign, facing the back of the disk golf information board. Walk to that board, then see two sets of two benches each. Go to the set on your left, the set with the memory marker for a local teacher. Sit on the east bench and face west. Notice a man-made object among some young redbud and dogwood trees. Approach the front of the object. That which you seek will be to your right.

Note: This box is located near the school. Please be very discrete when stamping in, especially when school is in session, and please rehide well.
