Kennedy Park
Sayreville, New Jersey
Directions: Kennedy Park is located across the street from the Sayreville High School on Washington Road.
You will stamp & sign in at the FOURTH and FINAL box. Happy Letterboxing!
Park near the smaller lake, on the right side as you pull in to the park. Start by walking the path around the smaller lake, but veer off the path when you see a couple of pine trees in the small field. The first box, "Boo," is hidden under the fullest/largest pine tree in the small field. Move towards the tennis courts. Walk past them on your left and into, and to the end of, their parking lot. Underneath your place to sit and view a game is the second box, "Spidey." Head toward the larger lake, towards the "rainbow-shaped" bridge (near the half-pipe). Cross the bridge. Just past the light post, turn right. You will see a dirt trail. Follow it downward toward the wooden post. Be careful! It's steep! The third box, "Corny," is hidden to the right of the wooden post, under the "white" tree (I think it's a birch?). Resume your walk on the paved path around the lake. Cross the second bridge. Walk across the football field, toward and beyond the goal post. Meander beyond the "canals" into a bunch of pine trees. Stamp in at the fourth box (and most "scary!"), hidden underneath one of them. You should hear water running as your uncover the last box. You'll also have a good view of home plate behind you. Please stamp in here and re-hide carefully!
