CCSAR (Connecticut Canine Search and Rescue) is a volunteer organization of highly trained dogs and their handlers that assists police in searching for missing persons.
Go to ccsar.org to view the website. The dogs are amazing!
My brother Dave has worked with the group for many years. Phantom, his first search and rescue dog, is now retired and Scout at 2 years old is certified to take over and fill Phamtom's "paws".
This area has been used by CCSAR for training purposes. I had hoped to place the box out on the trails but now that hunting season has started, I placed it as a drive by to be accessible safely every day.
CLUES
Find a road going through a state forest. Following it from west to east, stay left at the first intersection. Go about .4 miles and see a pull-out to your left. Up hill you will see a large tree with a large boulder. Check the right side of the boulder.
Scout's trading card is a First Finder prize.
