This letterbox Series: Full Moon Graveyard Haunt – The Good, The Bad and The Ugly is located in Urbana, IL. To find the cemetery, solve the Cryptogram and then Google it to find the exact address. Please respect the cemetery and the loved ones buried there. All the letterboxes are “commando” meaning without baggies…please reseal and rehide carefully. The colors: Green, Orange, Yellow, Red & Black using markers and chalk will enhance the stamps. NOTE: I am handicapped, so I used my car to move around, but you athletic types can use your feet….IF you dare.

This puzzle is called a Cryptogram. I've always loved doing them! At the top there is a KEY that lists all the letters from A thru Z with a box below. Each of the letters has a corresponding number.
The bottom part contains a secret phrase. Each of the blanks has a number underneath it. Fill in the letters that correspond to the numbers below the blanks to solve the phrase.

CLUE:
Once upon a time, an old evil Wizard cast a spell on a little ole pumpkin. Because of the spell, the little ole pumpkin, sweet as she could be, grew into three evil monsters. Around the time of the full moon, she would roll thumping around and scare people with her hideous faces.

If I were you, I'd be afraid
To meet her in the night.
By day she is a pumpkin,
But just you wait 'til night.

IIIIEEEEEEEE!!! Those who have met her THREE grotesque faces scream……Save yourself!!!! The Wizard deemed that the ONE who feeds each of her the magical food will break the evil spell and save her from a fiery candle hell. The Good, The Bad & The Ugly will melt into the sweet little ole pumpkin she once was.
They are demonically ravenous and have not eaten lately, so be careful…. Save her and yourself by FINDING the secretly hidden magical food bonus box.
Box #1 - The Good
It is a dark and dreary night…A vile smelling fog has crept slowly into the cemetery. THEN….you hear it….the Thumping, THUMP, Thumping THUMP…you walk a little faster, but it follows you. WAIT…it turns and goes another way..thumping, thump, thumping thump……maybe you should follow it. A Chill enters your body and a dreaded cold spreads to your toes…but you go on.
You stand at the Flag Pole and start shaking like a leaf, but listen carefully. The thumping seems to go right (south) along the road. Follow it. At the first intersection with a BUSH in the middle, you listen again. The thumping is softer…like a whisper. You stand at the East side of the Bush and look in the center… THE GOOD tells you that you must circle around her four times while saying “Full Moon” before you can pick her up. Do it NOW.
Box #2 – The Bad (Missing)
You cautiously listen for movement…or a rustle, a smell, a sound, a touch. There it is….an odor…a foul smelling, burning, acrid, a dead carcass, kind of odor. Whoooaaaa….could something be cooking? A human being? Aaargh!!!!…you gather up strength and courage and follow the smell. You travel East along the road just past the Baby Garden and stop. You sniff again and gag…..that sick order is stronger…you must be close. The odor leads you to the first BUSH on the East side of the road inside the East side of the BUSH. It is so bad that you throw up. THE BAD tells you that you must hop up and down four times while saying “ Full Moon Graveyard” before you can pick her up. Do it NOW.
Box #3 – The Ugly
IIIIIEEEEEEE! Aaaaaaaaaah! You hear a blood curdling scream. It sends an ancient creeping shiver down your spine and goosebumps arise on your skin. Someone is in trouble. A pitiful weeping and waling pervade your ears and you close your eyes. As you open your eyes, the moonlit night casts HUGE grotesque rounded shadows. You must follow the weeping, but your feet are glued to the ground in desperate attempt to save yourself. Suddenly you feel something grab at your feet and in a cold stark second of reality you start running toward the screaming. You run down the road curving to the north and STOP at the intersection with a jungle of plants in the center. On the NE side of the garden, you hear wimpering and look inside the plume grass. The Ugly tells you to twirl around four times while saying “Full Moon Graveyard Haunt” before you pick her up. Do it NOW.
Bonus Box – The Magical Food
Clue is in one of the other boxes. This is a micro cylinder box. It does not have log sheets.
Remember….you have to do the dance, the chant and feed the magical food to all of her personalities…if you don’t…..BEWARE the spell will not be broken…RUN for your LIFE.… before she DEVOURS your head.
