The Four Explorers Letterbox at Groveland's Meadow Pond.
This letterbox was created and planted by a group of fourth grade students as part of a school project to increase the awareness and use of Groveland’s public spaces. We hope you enjoy the area. Please visit the other Groveland letterboxes created by the Four Explorers’ classmates.

Take Washington Street to Uptack Road. Just before Berrywood Lane (on the right), there will be a parking area on the left. Park there. You will see four rocks at the beginning of the trail. Go straight along the trail. You will see an eerie twisted tree with a broken top on your right. Keep following the trail until you caome to a bridge. Cross the bridge. You will continue up a hill where you will meet another bridge. Cross the second bridge. Go straight up a hill but go to the left of the tree with the two tan/yellow trail marks. Follow the trail until you see a chain over the trail. Go over the chain and straight ahead. Soon you'll see a third bridge. Cross over the bridge and follow the path down where the path will curve to the right. You will go up a hill where you will see a fallen tree on the ground to your left. There will be two fallen trees on the ground to your right parallel to the one on the left. Follow the path down the hill. You will come to a fork in the path. Take the path on the right. Fallen tree branches outline the the path. Follow the path until you see two rocks on the left. The rocks are a little bigger than watermelons. Turn 90? to the right when you reach the second rock. You will see a break in the fallen tree branches. Take approximately 14 steps straight in until you reach a tree with a dark colored "rock" at the base. Perhaps the rock is covering something! Return to your car the way you came.
