DIRECTIONS: In Pocatello, ID look SW up in the hills for the two water towers near the high voltage power lines. This is where you want to go. Take West Custer, which turns into Highland, then turn left on Valley View. Go up Valley View and make a right on Sandy Lane. This street dead ends at the trailhead. Park where you can.
CLUES: Park near the trailhead for City Creek, Trail Creek, Kinport Peak at the BLM's Pocatello Front Management Area, West Bench Unit. Go up the main dirt road with the water tower to your left. DO NOT take any side trails. Continue up. Pass the second water tower. The bush directly off the trail to your left just this side of the power lines has the Smiley Spud Letterpouch hidden up within its branches. Please make sure all ziplocks and outer pouch are securely closed.
Also, this box is an orphan so if someone wants to babysit it ocassionally, that would be fine. I probably won't be back that way for another six years.
