First, you need to a desert in Maine.....
This is a neat place to explore. There is an admission fee which includes a tour, walking trails, "mining" for gems for kids; plus a little geology & history thrown in for good measure.
Find the #5 sign which informs the reader about moss beds. Stealth is required! Behind the sign, slightly to the right, is a dead tree. Walk about 28 steps through the two healthy pines towards the odd looking tree. Look to the left & down for a favored type of letterbox hiding spot. Please bury well when you have finished.
