This box is in Lapakahi state historical park south of Hawi in the northwest corner of the big island of Hawaii.
From the hut at #5 (south end of the cove), head inland on the trail (backtracking if following the numbers in order), passing one then another tree on the left. Opposite the second tree, on the right, there is a large rock adjacent to the path. Punchy is under that rock, on the inland side, obscured by several smaller rocks.
