This letterbox is placed to commemorate my brother’s first year of playing soccer with Moline United.
This letterbox is hidden by the fields of the Moline Soccer Club. To find it you need to turn south from John Deere Road onto 60th street (Blain’s Farm & Fleet is on the corner). To your left, on 60th street , there will be a group of apartments. Keep going until, on your left there will be a gravel road with no name and red gates and a tree line next to it. If the red gates are open drive, into the soccer complex and park in the parking lot in front of you. If they are not open drive to the next street going east (50th Street) and park in that parking lot. Then, walk along the tree line in which you would have driven on to the parking lot. From the parking lot in the complex, walk east and you will see a picnic table, from the table walk to the far tree line ahead of you. Once you get there you will see a small tree sticking out from the rest of the trees. Stand on the right side of the small tree and walk 12 paces in. Once there you will see a wooden post with a cement block next to it. In the corner of the two you will have reached your goal!
