Closest parking to trail head: Continue past main parking area on North Road there will be a dirt parking lot on the right. A parking pass is needed, see Great brook Farm website for rate and schedule information as well as trail maps.
This trail can be done in 30 minutes. Not advised for strollers, but young children should be able to do this hike. My 5 year old and 7 year old helped to hide this box.
Say Cheese
Cross North Road and take Woodchuck Trail. Soon you will cross over a bridge. Take your first right onto Garrison Loop.
You will cross a stone wall and see a trail marker up ahead. Shortly after there will be a split in the trail, stay left.
You will climb up a small hill. On your right will be a trail marker. On your left will be the foundation for Garrison House.
Start at the trail marker on the tree. Look toward the foundation. To the left of the foundation are two oak trees in a V.
Take 14 paces toward the V.
There will be a group of rocks in front of you. Search under a pile of flat rocks for your reward.
Please rehide carefully.
