12/11/14 - this series is under MAJOR RENEWAL/REPLACEMENT
only BOX 6 - MM

is still valid and in place

will update when i have completed

HUNGRY MOTORCYCLE RIDER of TAYLORSVILLE series

7 Letterboxes (2 HIDE-A-KEY, 5 Pouches)
total driving distance - 6.9 miles

These are some of our favorite food related places in TAYLORSVILLE. All are heavy traffic areas and EXTREME DISCRETION is required when seeking these boxes. Suggest boxing in the mornings and if you are group boxing: let one person retrieve each LB, return to your vehicle for stamping, and then re-hide with the same caution.

BOX 3 is special….there is a breakfast on the 1st Saturday of every month, and NO WAY to get this box without being seen before 1pm.

Street name SPOILER available if you email Dixie Darlin’, but I really do not think you will need it.

Have fun, stop for a bite, and please log your finds on LBNA and/or ATLASQUEST web sites.

CLUES:

Box 1:
HUNGRY MOTORCYCLE RIDER of TAYLORSVILLE – WM

The first of boxes, clue is for
You look at T’villes’s biggest store
Black Friday finds it in a jam
Was started by a man named Sam.

Behind a guard rail’s where you track
It wends it’s way around the back
Right at the end, you’ll search no more
The end that’s toward Rt. 64

The last steel post, right at the top
Is where your hunting’s bound to stop
And you will have a spot of glee
The “WM” box is what you’ll see

Please bring BLUE marker or ink pad.

-------------------------------------------

Box 2:
HUNGRY MOTORCYCLE RIDER of TAYLORSVILLE – CH

South on 16, then right you turn
At 24 hrs on the sign
A holly bush at end discern
The “CH” box you’re sure to find

----------------------------------------------

BOX 3:
HUNGRY MOTORCYCLE RIDER of TAYLORSVILLE – DAV

More south 16, then make a right
Upon the street before the light
You drive a ways, and then you see
The soldier on his bended knee

A real short distance still remains
You’re stopping right before the chain
And under bush on left you see
A letterbox, called “DAV”

-------------------------------------------------

BOX 4:
HUNGRY MOTORCYCLE RIDER of TAYLORSVILLE – P

To end of road, again turn right
And go along to pass two lights
The store with letterbox will be
Between the “Inn” and KFC

Entering the parking lot
A big green cover’s what you’ll see
Next to right pillar is the spot
For letterbox whose name is “P”

---------------------------------------------

BOX 5:
HUNGRY MOTORCYCLE RIDER of TAYLORSVILLE – S

Turn right at light and go through town
To make a left across from gas
Short drive to where a kilt is found
In land where there is lad and lass

Left end of fence around the back
And all the way to the dumpster side
At the bottom in palnter's pack
“S” letterbox, inside resides

-----------------------------------------------

BOX 6:
HUNGRY MOTORCYCLE RIDER of TAYLORSVILLE – MM

Return to light, go left again
Towards out of town is what we mean
On left you search, but will refrain
At doorways with the awnings green

Park on the right, in front of you
Refreshments in machine abound
Behind the box your final clue
The “MM” hide-a-key is found

Please bring green marker or ink pad.

------------------------------------------------

BOX 7:
HUNGRY MOTORCYCLE RIDER of TAYLORSVILLE - MV

Drive farther east, you’re almost done
A few amigos’ eyes would roll
The “MV” letterbox you’ve won
‘Cause it says “Boston” on the pole
