Let’s Go Fly a Kite!

Go to beautiful Lynch Park on the ocean in Beverly, MA. There is a beach here as well as a great playground. It’s a terrific place for flying a kite!

Park your car in the general lot-
This is a great park whether cold or hot.
Nice for volleyball or floating on a raft,
Was the summer White House for President Taft.

Head to the park’s main flag pole-
Face the bricked rose garden from days of ol’
Go from the pole to the exterior rear brick wall,
Find the curved middle, you don’t need to be tall.

Salute the big stump and walk past the 3-pronged tree,
Go to the next tree where what you seek will be.
“Root” around this tree which waves toward the flag,
Our stamp is well hidden, a box within a bag.
