Chutes & Ladders is one of the first games I remember playing, mainly because you can play at such an early age since it does not require reading ability. The game is played on a board with squares from 1-100, and the object is to get your pawn exactly on the last square before anyone else. A spinner determines the number of squares to travel, and along the way players encounter situations that reward them for good deeds by letting them climb the ladders or punish them for misbehaving by sending them down chutes. This box is located in the Austin Nature & Science Center, but to see the clues you must play and win this game I have created of only 40 squares. Good luck!

Directions:
To get to the Austin Nature & Science Center from MOPAC (Loop 1), take the 2244/Rollingwood exit and go east on Barton Springs Road. Take a left on Stratford Drive (just after the Botanical Gardens) and follow it to the parking area under the MOPAC bridge. From I35, exit on Riverside Drive heading west, then turn left on Barton Springs Road. Go about 1.5 mile and turn right on Stratford Drive and follow it to the parking area under MOPAC Bridge.
