****** Texas Winery Series ********
The Bella Vista Winery microbox is located just northwest of Wimberley. The facility is new, but not anything special. The wine is not their main focus, and we actually did not taste, opting instead to taste the olive oils which is their main production. The oil oil tasting is free, and one wine tasting is free (more will cost you). **** Only open on weedends *****
Directions:
From Wimberley, go north on Hwy 12, then left on Jacobs Well Rd, then right on Mt Shart Rd to winery on the left in about 3 miles.
To the Microbox:
From the tasting room (Facing it), to to the right side and all the way to the fence. Go right along the fence until you reach a small tree growing through the roots of the big tree. Box is just left of the base of the small tree, in a root hole of the big tree, with rocks on top.
