Description
It's the holiday season and the Bumble is back!
The Christmas Tree in Aptos Village has had its traditional trimming and, again, the good folks of Aptos needed help!
The tree is so tall no one can reach the top to place the star. Fortunately, our good friend the Bumble has returned and was able to lend a hand. If you can find him, the Bumble will place a star (and a portrait) in your stamp book, too.
2009 Bonus Stamp
If you visited the Bumble last year, swing by again to collect the new 2009 bonus stamp. There's a new log book, too, so come on by and say "Happy Holidays" again!
Time Limit
The Holiday Bumble is here for the holidays and will only be available until January 2nd, 2010. Act fast, before he migrates North!
Directions
To find the Holiday Bumble, locate the decorated Christmas tree in Aptos Village. (Hint: It's right next to the Britannia Arms pub.)
Park across the street at Aptos Station.
In the Aptos Station parking lot, near the flag pole, find the large, green electrical box.
There, you'll find the Bumble clinging to the underside of the only shelter available.
Note: Last year, even though the letterbox was under shelter, water (from sprinklers, I think) managed to seep in and cause rust. So, we put the box in a ziplock bag. Please let us know if you notice the bag ripping or the contents getting damp. Thanks!
