08/20/2010---This letterbox is missing!

This Letterbox is dedicated to the Past presidents of the Bucks Hill Community Club(B.H.C.C.), An amazing club organization that helps the community who lives in the Bucks Hill part of town in Waterbury. This club holds meetings for crime watch, Boy Scout meetings and even Political meetings where here they can address the Mayor for concerns of the Hill. The officers who ran the club have done nothing but better the town of Bucks Hill. The one president who made a huge difference, his name is Gene Schmidt. The owner of Schmidts and Serafines in waterbury. Where he lived he built a village of what bucks hill looked like back then in his own back yard. He organized a great fair for the hill in Montoe park which is now Bucks Hill park. RIP Gene! Where the club is located was bucks Hill first original school.

Find the Bucks Hill Cemetery on Cemetery road. This road goes between Bucks hill rd and North main street. the best way to get there is going up North main street heading towards wolcott. You will come to a Fork where Bucks hill is on the left. keep following North main past the retirement home. Just past that is Cemetery road and the Club you will see on the corner. ( Big white school). Turn left here and go up till you see the cemetery on right. park here and go through small gate. This Cemetery holds the past presidents and other fellow officers here and the original settlers of Bucks hill. Follow the grass road almost till the end. Look left and see Schmidt's Family Tombstone. Just past there you will see 2 small evergreen trees between another stone. Look to the left Evergreen in middle for a grey pouch.
