Office Memo

This box was planted in connection with the letterbox class taught by Pine Tree at Southeast School. It will be used every year with different students . Please let us know how it is holding up .

Make your way to Rte 89 in Mansfield from Rte 195. Go 2.7 miles past Southeast School and look for Mt Hope Park on the right hand side . Park. Head east across the open field ( there is a mown path that hugs the tree line. You will quickly walk past an old foundation on your left. Make your way to the back of the open field heading to a sign and a birdhouse in the tree line( that follows the stream.) The sign will say “Keep off…working agricultural working Land” . Continue to another sign just like this one . The path will go into the woods through a pine section .and white markers. Look for a trail on the right . at about 210 degrees . When the trail turns down the hill stay along the water and look for the rock wall . Follow the rock wall about 30 paces near a tree with 2 yellow signs reading “Permanent Easement area”. Look in the wall . YOU will have to move only one rock on the top .
