This is Anne Arundel Community College! As you approach the main campus proceed around the driving loop to the closest parking spot to the Western most side of the loop. Begin your search at the bus stop located directly across from the Commons building and the Cafeteria. This bricked semi-circle is evident by the trellis work, benches, and the walking bridge that connects the main campus to the newer buildings. On the North side (toward the football fields) of the semi-circle/courtyard there is a birding path marked by two signs and a checklist of native birds familiar to the ravine and to the Maryland area. You will use this path to find your letterbox.
Follow the birding path away from the main campus buildings. Turn left and go down into the ravine. You will proceed up hill with the foot-bridge above, on your left. Continue down the steps, under the bridge and cross over a small, wooden bridge at the bottom of the ravine. As you pass the culvert cover on the side of the bridge, you will turn left and follow the path. Continue on the wooden foot path next to the stream. Proceed along the path, next to the stream until you come to the cement drainage tunnels and another wooden bridge. From the cement wall on your side of the stream you will see a large Oak tree directly across, on the opposite bank of the stream. That tree marks your letterbox. Cross over the bridge and carefully proceed to the Oak tree. You will find a fallen tree nearby. Between the fallen tree and the Oak are several logs piled together. Your letterbox is underneath. You can continue on the path to end at the Southern most parking lot of the main campus or again continue on the path and end where you began, full circle.
