Oyster Creek in Sugar Land is a great place to paddle any kind of boat, and that is why the Greater Houston Rowing Club has been rowing here since 1988. The founding members chose Oyster Creek because it is a long, protected waterway close to Houston that provides more than 3.5 miles of safe, uninterrupted rowing. Recently they got a new home with the completion of the Oyster Creek Boathouse. It is located near Lake Pointe Creek Bend Park and allows access to the Creek on both sides of the spillway with floating docks. I have taken my kayak there several times and it is great. Anyone can use the docks and future plans include boat rental. So come enjoy paddling on the Creek after finding this microbox.

Directions:
From Houston, head south on Hwy 59 and exit at Williams Trace/Sugar Lakes. Turn right on Sugar Lakes, then take first left at Creekbend Drive. Go about 1 mile and park at the Oyster Creek Boathouse on your right, or along the Park near it.

Clues:
From the boathouse walk east on the sidewalk about 100 yards to the last picnic table in the park. From the grill on the right side of the table, walk 10 steps toward the creek to a large, multi-trunk tree. The microbox is within the trunks under a rock and leaves. Please replace as described and be discreet.
