Missing. I'd like to get a replacement back out there one day though

Hello, I am the Saluting Veteran. I am a handcarved stamp. I served in the military during the great LbNA War. That was the war when a group of letterboxers found us letterboxes, stamped us in their logbooks, and stamped their personal stamps in our logbooks. I am in hiding because there are more letterboxers out there, looking for me! I am hiding inside a waterproof box, with nothing but my logbook. I love visitors (hitchhikers) though, they keep me company. My fort is in Redondo Beach, CA, in Veterans Park. Veteran's Park is a small park right on the beach. My fort is hidden there. It is a great hiding place.

To find me, go to Veteran's Park in Redondo Beach. Park in the lot by the playground. Enter near the bathrooms and follow the path to the right. Go past the playground and around the patch of grass. On your right should be a red trash can with a sign HOT ASH ONLY! Follow the path to the new Veteran's memorial (which is worth checking out.) Face the Air Force, and go to the bamboo. On the left side of the stairs, stand with your back against the 3rd post. Take a compass reading of 60°. The camo box is in a space between bamboo stalks, about 3 feet off the ground, in the back near the wall. The space is covered by leaves and sticks.

When you are done, make sure you re-seal and re-hide the box EXACTLY where you found it. Make sure the box fits in the space, as far as it can go, and cover with leaves and plants well. Make sure no one sees you. I wouldn't want to be taken by non boxers.
