Alive and well as of 2/12/2011

Your Journey begins at Victor Park on Emerald and Anza. Please, please, please bring thick gloves because the box is hidden in holly leaves, and dead holly leaves are very, very sharp.

Park on Emerald St. in front of Henderson library. Enter on the right path closest to the VICTOR PARK sign. Playground should be on your right and the library on your left. Walk straight forward. Pass pole 14. Take a left at the walking circle. Turn left at path closest to the bathroom. Turn left again just after the Men's bathroom. Go up one set of stairs, and over to the stone barbeque pits. Behind the middle of the BBQ pits, at the base of the holly bush, under ivy and holly leaves (sharp) you will find the semi-camoflaged letterbox.

When you are done, make sure you re-hide the box EXACTLY where you found it, an d cover well. Make sure no one sees you finding or re-hiding.

This park has a short walking path with exercise stations along the way if you are interested afterwards. Henderson Library was the first library in Torrance.
