12 Days of Christmas: A Partridge in a Pear Tree is the first in a set of 12 letterboxes created as a Christmas gift for my granddaughter (age 9) who has already been converted to letterboxing!
To find this box, go to West Hanover Township and find the place where Tall Timber used to be but now only the sign remains. Turn NORTH onto Clover Lane and then turn at the first road on your LEFT. Go to the first utility pole on your right and park your car (or whatever!) along the side of the road.
Cross the road to the mailbox and make a 90 degree turn to your left. Count 7 paces (L & R steps) and you should be standing near the end of a hedge. What you seek is in the last tree in the hedge about 2' above the ground.
Be stealthy and bring your pens or stamp pads. This box is hidden on private property, so please be courteous. The Partridge will go into hiding on/about 2/14/10.
