Going N into Beeville via 181, take the bypass until you see the George West/Refugio exit. Exit there then turn left toward town. This is Houston St. Turn R on Archer, at the light, then L on Gramman. Turn L again, when you get to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and go 1 block, then you will see OLD Evergreen Cemetery. The OLD Evergreen cemetery is on your L.
Beeville’s OLD Evergreen Cemetery is the oldest cemetery in Beeville. Be sure to read the historical marker at the entrance gate. It surrounded by Filmore, Bowie, Polk and Hefferman Streets… On the Hefferman Street side is an anagua tree just outside the fence. Look under a big piece of bark between fence and tree to find this microbox.
