***NOTE*** There is a town by-law that prohibts the feeding of waterfowl. There is a $20 dollar fine.***
Directions: Route 3 to exit 6A and follow signs to waterfront.Park anywhere you can find.
Enter the Garden named for William Brewster. Follow the path over and under the bridges. You will be following the South(left) side of the Brook.
Cross over four little bridges and under the big 5th. To your left you will pass 2 weeping giants, continue along the path.
To your right the water falls and flows. Here is a good spot to stop for a bite to eat or a cold treat. You will see a wheel, this is where Mr. Jenney ran the first mill in the New World.
Cross using the crosswalk to Jenney Pond following the Pilgrim Path. Once across the road, Go left.
Take your first right onto a path. Go up and over the bridge. Head across the circle to the path in the woods.
You are now close to your treasure.
Pass light #26, continue to stairs. Go up the stairs looking to the left for a 5 trunk tree. Stop before you walk into the street The box lies in the middle of the 5 trunks. RE HIDE WELL!!!!!
If you are interested and it is mid April you can walk across the street and take a peak at the herring ladder. When this box was replanted they were teaming!
