We placed this box the day the tsunami hit Hawaii...after we were released from lockdown at our hotel!
Beware! Not for the timid!
This box is hidden at the Dragon's teeth...directions can be found in the Maui Revealed guidebook. Turn into the entrance to Kapalua as if going to the Ritz Carlton hotel. You will pass the Honolua store. The road dead-ends into the resort, turn right and there is a small parking area overlooking the golf course. Park here to begin your quest.
Start at the dragon's tail, follow the green and purple tail downward, on your right you will pass the burial ground of those who went before you. At the end of the tail follow the dragon's rocky spine. You are getting close when you begin to hear the roar of the dragon!
Proceed along it's green scales but beware of flying turtle eggs!
When you see the ocean walk toward the dragon's teeth along the ocean's edge. Follow the teeth to their end and turn to the island behind you. Walk toward the dragon's eye which is ringed in green. Follow the maze to the center of the eye of the dragon. From the center of the dragon's eye, walk southwest to a rock outcropping that has an evergreen bush growing on top. Your prize is hidden on the ocean side of the boulders in a crack covered by a SPOR (you may have to look under dried foliage to find SPOR)
