Take rte 133 out of Essex MA toward Ipswich MA. After you pass the White Elephant Antique shop on you right you will see Island RD. Turn right on to Island rd and directly on you RIGHT will be THE STAVROS RESERVATION. Park at the gate. Follow either of the two trails up to the tower. Once at the tower walk around back. You will be facing a door. Walk to the right corner of the back of the building (while facing the door) When at the right corner turn around so you are facing the woods. Walk 35 paces straight back into the woods. You will see a tree with two trunks with big notches cut in them. Behind this tree at the base under some logs is the ACORN LETTERBOX. SPECTACULAR VIEW!!!
