Rowena Crest

Park at Rowena Overlook, and head up the Tom McCall "Point" trail (vs. down the "Plateau" trail).

If you're on the correct trail you'll come along a tree that splits up the path into two trails (it doesn't matter which side you go on because they come back into the same trail).
After the trail takes a big left-hand turn, it will head up to a natural flat "bench" with a small sign at the right. The trail then heads into the trees. Start looking for the Three Wise Oaks at your right, if you please. These three trees are like none other there. They stand close to the trail, thick, tall, grabbing rocks from the ground. From there on count your paces 200 or so. Then look to your left and to your right, and find two clues within sight.Look up to the right,to see the sharp point of a rock on a cliff. And off to the East rests a lonely small tree, out at the egde of a meadow for thee. Between those two clues stands an old Oak tree, with nooks and crannies a plenty. Perhaps look around, and look inside for things that people hide. But best to look below, and you may find the treasure you know. But come spring, POISON OAK! Three leavas and shiny.
