Our family took a weekend trip, driving through four states ~ IL, IN, OH, and KY ~ in one day, to get set for our first tour of the Creation Museum on the second day of our visit to the Blue Grass State.

As you pull into the museum parking lot, you will notice a large open setting with walking paths and bridges just off to your right. We hid our letterbox in this area on what turned out to be a sunny and warm spring day.

Since we reside in IL, and we are not sure when we will be back to this museum again, when you locate our letterbox, if you would take a few minutes to "contact the placer" to let us know, we would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance, and happy hunting...

As you walk along the assorted trails, you will notice a sign affixed to a post that reads, "This lovely spot makes a wonderful background for a portrait." As you look up, you will see a small waterfall in the background. If you look out into the distance from this spot, you will see a giraffe as well.

From this pathway, walk toward the three-tiered fountain, go around it, and walk by the Stegasaurus that has strings of lights wrapped around it. Follow the rock path that you see off to your right toward the the spot where the water flows out of the large rock. Stand above these boulders, facing the museum, and you will soon find the letterbox for which you seek. Pavilion 3 will be directly behind you.

If you sit down on the tallest, sloped, rust colored rock and place your feet on the two rocks in front. The "Let There Be Light" stamp is hidden under the left side of the rock directly in front of your left foot. It is hiding behind three smaller rocks that have been strategically placed to prevent anyone from noticing the letterbox.

Please provide your own ink, stamp in, and secure the box again with the other rocks to disguise its whereabouts. Have fun and thanks for adding your stamped impression to our logbook! We hope to get back someday to see it!
