Find the rest area just north of Blackfoot. You will want to park- anywhere works. Feel free to walk the trails they are great and not too long. Hell's half acre is am island of lava-- very cool! Perfect for stretching legs if you are on a long trip. However, the box is not on the trails.
Once you are ready to find your box, walk past the restroom on the east side. Walk next to the lava rocks towards where the two lanes almost merge (trucks/cars- be careful!) You will see a lone big juniper. To it's left a single sage bush on the edge of a rock wall. At the bottom on the wall, to the left is a boulder. Behind it is where you will find Hell's 1/2 Acre.
