******CLUE HAS BEEN CHANGED AND BOX MOVED DUE TO UNFORESEEN PLANTING OF A CORNFIELD AND EXTREME OVERGROWTH OF WEEDS AT ORIGINAL LETTERBOX PLANT SITE******

Go to the main entrance to Red Hill State Park on the South side of US Route 50. The road will "Y" when you enter the park and turn left. Follow the road and look for (and follow) the signs to the primitive camping area. Go past the tent camping (primitive) area a short way and there will be a pull-off on the right, park here. On the left is a service road that has a chain across it (no vehicles allowed). Walk to this service road and follow it until you see a bike/horse/hiking post sign on the left next to the woods. Take the road straight ahead from the sign. (Watch out for horse poop as you are walking!!) Follow this grassy/gravel road past the farmer's field. It will then curve right and then immediately left. Keeping to the left continue down the road until you come to a "Y". At this "Y" there will be another sign post with a horse/bike symbol on it. Go left on the road and proceed uphill and to the left. Just as the road curves left and goes downhill, there will be a tree of 3 on the left, right next to the road (looks like Tarzan left his vine hanging from it). The box is hidden where the three trunks meet covered with bark. Please rehide this very well because it is so close to the road.

This area will be wet and/or soggy in the spring so make sure you are wearing mud boots!!
