This letterbox is placed on the public footpath in Rockport that runs along the coastline. To get to the footpath go to the Emerson Inn in Rockport. When you get to the Inn walk down to the end of the street and the entrance to the footpath is on the left handside. When you start on the path look along the coast and you will see a large stone house with a hedge running in front of it with a green house directly to its left. Thats your destination. It is about a half a mile walk. The footpath interweaves in and out of the rocks and peoples yards which is totally public. Walk the path until you come to a large stone house with a hedge boardering it from the rocks. The hedge has a green arbor in the middle of it. Face the arbor and to the left about 20 feet you will see a large flat rock which is about 10 feet distance away from the hedge. Under the front ocean facing side of the rock behind some small stones is the letterbox. Spectacular coastal views.
