This letterbox is most likely inactive at this time. We have since moved out of state and have no way to check on it.

Take Exit 11 off of Route 3 (either North or South). Take a left at the end of the exit ramp. At the fork in road, take the left fork onto King Phillips Path. At stop sign, take a right onto Union Bridge Road. A few hundred yards down on the left, pull into parking area for Lansing Bennett Forest.

This is about an hour hike. It is a very easy walk.

From the parking area, follow the yellow path. At the fork, follow the red path to your left. At the next fork, go RIGHT onto the white trail (there will be a blue mark on a tree in front of you – ignore it).

Go over wooden bridge. At the fork with the blue trail follow the white trail on your right, and walk along the brook. At the next fork, stay on the white trail, not the green trail to your left. Go over a large wooden bridge that spans a muddy part of the path. At the end, walk a short way, then take a right over a wooden bridge that crosses the brook. Go up the hill and follow the white trail.

At the “T” intersection, take the yellow trail. At the fork with the blue trail, look to your right and find a tree with a stump growing behind it. Your second prize is between the stump and tree under leaves and pine needles. Cover it well when you are done.

Go back to the fork, with the blue trail to your left and the yellow trail to your right. Follow the yellow path back to the parking lot.
