QUAIL HILL LOOP TRAIL
Shady Canyon Dr, Irvine, CA, 92606
The Quail Hill Loop Trail, an easy two-mile natural surface trail at the foot of Quail Hill that is open to the public from dawn to dusk.
Follow Sand Canyon until it become Shady Canyon.
The entrance to the parking lot is located just after the Fire Station on your right.
The trail head is located to the right of the bathrooms. Start on the trail and turn left to start the loop.
At the top of the first hill, heat to the right to a vista point. You will see posts with a rope attaching them (great photo op here).
While looking out over the vista you will view below to your left another group of boulders.
Please be discrete. Do not let others see you finding our secret box!
Go off trail to get down to those boulders.
Find the face of the boulders that look toward the Freeway. Pull away the lose rocks to reveal our box.
Have fun and please re-hide.
