Adult’s Clues
Note: Clues are written in a riddle, so be sure to read the next clue ahead of the one you already read. The facts of the cemetery are included in italics.

The Monument of the Unknown is where you shall start
Where the unknown are recognized in this part

In this cemetery, there is a considerably-sized section listed as a dedication to the unknown buried.

Walk forward to the church, and at its left side
There lies a trophy upon another monument, regal and full of pride

It stands by five entwined small trees
The names engraved are William, Ida and Leona Gentry

A very large percentage of this cemetery has gravestones marked as “Infant”.

With your back facing Ida and your eyes facing forward
Walk until you come upon the group stone with the name “Knicely, Warren”

Turn your back towards Warren and instead look forward again
And the person you shall see shall have the name of our 2nd president

The first minister of the Beaver Creek Church was John Brower.

Walk up to him and look slightly to your right
And you shall see four curtained stones with books stacked upon the opposite side

These stones are engraved with beautiful poetry
And have been here for nearly a century

With your back facing “Abraham” look for a sign where his holiness died and follow it to where it says “Simmons”
From there you shall see that left diagonally there is a sideways ribbon

On it is engraved, “Click”
And just diagonally right from it, you see a dark as night grave marked “Pennington”

The Beaver Creek School was controlled by the church until it was incorporated into the Rockingham County Public School system in the early 1870’s.

And between two of the same plants,
There is one short in stance, and beneath it you shall find your prize hidden in.
