Park in front of the school in the visitor parking section, if you go on a school day you must sign in and get a visitors pass. While facing the school count four trees down to the right (Did you know: The original middle school was John C. Meyers Middle school which became an elementary school when J. Frank Hillyard middle school opened, before J. Frank Hillyard opended as a middle school it was Broadway High School), stop beside the tree stump then hop forward 14-15 squares depending on where you stop. Find the number 2+3 equals in green (In 1997 the “Hawk” mascot was chosen so were the school colors green and white) then race to the seventh pole and go around the corner, the first one to touch the corner wins. Look down the wall and bunny hop over the white lines, skip to the light pole that has only one light after looking both ways. Find the doorway with the number 10-2, then take a 5 minute break at the picnic tables, it’s a place to eat.(J. Frank Hillyard Middle School is named after James Frank Hillyard, Mr. Hillyard was a principle from 1939-1969) Find the yellow triangle of poles, look both ways and walk backwards to the fence, look to the right and find the big white arrow. (Did you know: The Town of Broadways nickname is the “Heart of the Turkey Industry”) Take 8 hops from the arrow to the “No Parking”, race to the white building, the first person to touch the building wins the race. I wonder what could be hiding in the bushes?

Park in front of the school in the visitor parking section. If you go on a school day you must sign in and get a visitors pass (The administration for the 2009-2010 school year was principal-Doug Alderfer, assistant principals-Kevin Hutton and Betty Emswiler.) Facing the school walk towards the school bus yield sign (Did you know: The school identity committee named the school entrance “Hawks Hill Dr.,” and the hill the school sits on is “Hawks Hill”). Turn right, I wonder how much electricity it takes to run this place? Don’t fall down the manhole, and then head towards the windows with no glass. Go past India (look down) and turn right. (Did you know: J. Frank Hillyard became a middle school in 1998, and opened its doors for students on Aug. 27, 1998) Look down the wall of the school and recycle your cardboard; for the rest of your trash find the other dumpster. Walk out into the fire lane and turn right. It’s now time to take a five-minute break where you get 64/8. Come back into the fire lane and walk towards the Broadway #1 water tower. (Did you know: Rockingham County was formed from Augusta County in 1778. Rockingham County’s seat is Harrisonburg). What two numbers multiplied equal 156, go towards them. Afterwards walk up the hill to the second tree (Mulberry tree). Walk to the greenhouse, and follow the white arrow, then find the bike rack. It looks snaky in there …
