1. Start out going NORTHWEST on PORT REPUBLIC RD toward S MAIN ST/US-11. 0.1 mi

2. PORT REPUBLIC RD becomes MARYLAND AVE. 0.7 mi

3. Turn RIGHT onto S DOGWOOD DR. 0.3 mi

4. 305 S DOGWOOD DR is on the LEFT.

305 S Dogwood DR is also known as Westover Park.

Directions to the box (Kids Directions)

1. Park in the parking lot closest to the building.
2. From the yellow trashcan at the entrance to the community center skip 62 +1 steps southeast to the wooden fence; Harrisonburg was founded in 1737 and named after Thomas Harrison.
3. Go under the fence and walk 8 steps east to the pine bush. When Harrisonburg first started there were only a few people living there. Now there are a lot of people living there.
4. Turn around and walk around until you are directly across from the tree, Bishop Francis Asbury and Dr Walter Reed were two of the most famous men back in old Harrisonburg.
5. Walk 5 Steps diagonally from the bush. Stop and do 5 jumping jacks.
6. Walk 5 more steps, then clap your hands 5 times.
7. Look down and search the bush for the treasure, Many people who moved to Harrisonburg back in the old times were English, German, Irish, and Scottish-Irish.
