this letter box is in the beautifully refurbished ROCKLAND TOWN FOREST.
enter at the spruce st. side of the forest. follow the ALBERT L. INGENO TRAIL as it winds and curves through a beautiful conservation area. this is a lovely trail. there are bridges, logs, and stepstones to guide you along your way. enjoy the plants , birds , and all the flora and fauna that abound. when you come to a slightly tricky part of this course, there will be a small bridge, which is merely made of logs, tightly packed together. i can't remember, but i think there is a slat of wood covering it. depending on the state of the water table, you should hear rushing water, on the right. you will arrive at a bend in the path, with the stream on both sides, and a stone wall, on both sides, as well. stop. before you go over the wooden plank bridge, there will be a small cluster of trees, on the right. the letter box is here, hidden on the left side of a rooty, trunk. PLEASE re hide well. if you don't , the box will be obvious to passers by. thanx and good luck!
