This is the neighborhood where I grew up. Woodhaven has a great hill for sledding. As a child this hill was huge, but after revisiting it as an adult, not so big! But oh those great memories!
Make your way to the community of Woodhaven. Follow along Assiniboine Ave to where Ashcroft point begins. You will see a large open field. Look for a giant rock that has a plaque on it. There are some words by Fred Penner which aptly describe this hill.
Standing at the top of the hill look towards the creek. to the left you will see 2 groupings of boulders. Run, roll, walk or skip down the hill and make your way to the left group of rocks on the higher ground. you will find the 2 largest rocks and the box you seek is nestled between them.
