+++BOX RETIRED 7/19/14+++

I don't recommend doing this box in high rain time due to some stream crossing. Other times is fine.

Plimpton St. next to house #43. Parking for 1-2 cars only but I have never seen a car parked there. You may also park on Helmock St which is just around the corner. The kiosk and trailhead can be easily missed so look for a set of stairs going uphill to trail head.

You will be following the Blue Trail but there are no trail markers until you go on the path for 2-3 minutes. After following this old railroad bed for a few minutes the trail turns left and suddenly is the Red Trail but following those red markers will very soon bring you back to blue.

Travel around the bottom of Pinnacle Hill, soon seeing and following the Neponset River on this well marked Blue Trail.

From when you first see the river walk about 8 minutes; crossing 3 stream areas (there are rocks and tree trunk steps to aid in your crossing) to a large imbedded boulder on the left. You are now entering a very rock laden area.
Soon see 2 VERY LARGE fallen trees (Maple and Birch) across your path. STOP

Look left on paths edge for small oak just before these fallen trees. Its mouth holds what you seek. Please use same rock to hide the box but do not put it on box, just plug hole with it.

The Blue Trail continues from here but it is swampy and overgrown. I suggest you return on the Blue trail or walk up and over Pinnacle Hill to explore and then return following the Blue Trail.
