This series is located in Ryan Park in the area where the baseball fields are. It can be accessed off of Oak Hill Road. It is the entrance closest to route 1 and is 0.8 miles from route 4. If you come from route 4 you will pass another entrance to Ryan Park first. It is the second one on the left when coming that way. It is the first one on the right if you come from route 1.

Turn into the park and take the road to the right past the building on the left and two baseball fields on the right. Make the first right after the second baseball field. There will be large boulders on the left. One of the boulders will be made of a large flat rock on top of another large flat rock. The “Playful Otter” is under these and can be accessed from the right end.

Go back out of the parking area towards the main park road but follow the dirt road to the right. Follow it to where you see water and a sign that says “Ryan Park Waterfowl Hunting Area” on your right. Immediately ahead you will see a parking area surrounded by large boulders. Pull in there and park. Two paths leave the area. Take the one that leaves from the left corner. Follow it for 65 steps. There will be a lily pond on your right. You will come to a Y fork in the path, Take the left fork and follow it up a rise for 15 steps. There will be a stand of birch trees on your left. The “Tricky Trout” is located about 5 feet up in the back of the largest birch. It is a microbox and contains only a stamp.

Follow the road around and take a left after you pass the baseball field and park in front of the building you passed before. Get out of the car and walk through the building and towards the woods in back of it staying about halfway between the road on your right and the basketball court on your left. About 4 feet behind a large tree at the edge of the treeline you will see a 6 foot tall evergreen tree. The “Slippery Seals” is located about 4 feet up in the evergreen. It is a microbox and contains only a stamp.

Go back to the parking lot. There is a fire hydrant in the south east corner. In front of the fire hydrant is a path. Take the path to the far side of a small bridge. From the bridge take 110 steps past the baseball field and the bleachers. You should end up in a break in a line of large evergreen trees with trees on both sides of you. You should be looking at the street and the body of water on the other side of it. To the left should be a break in the trees. Go through it and find “Swan a Swimming” in the base of a large evergreen on the right with sticks and bark covering it.
