Clues: Easy
Terrain: Rocky
Time: 5 Minutes

Off the end of Dale Road in Parsippany New Jersey, just a short ways from where 80 & 287 cross.

This gigantic group of glacial erratics supposedly contains a rare New Jersey example of Native North American petroglyphs, thought to have been etched into the rock between 500 BC and 500 AD. The placer of this box has not been able to find the petroglyphs but has been told they are there, unfortunately there are many recent examples of graffiti there as well.

From the northern end of the Rock House look at 60 degrees up a small hill to a lone big tree. Go to that tree. From left side of tree 6 paces at 315 degrees to a split tree. On the right, at it’s base, under a rock is what you seek. Please make sure to recover better then you found it so it can’t be seen when you are finished.
