This Letterbox is part of my CT Quickies Series. (#11)
The other day I was running errands and wished I could be letterboxing. The weather was sunny, warm, and I thought to myself wouldn’t it be great if you could do both? So I decided to plant some boxes in traveling paths. Maybe you could grab these on your way to other boxes or while running errands. Most of these boxes are in high traffic areas so some stealth is required. My suggestion park your car, retrieve the box and bring it back to the car, stamp, log, and then return the box to its resting place.
The Mad-dash-moose is located on Bridgeport Ave. It can be found at the Bertuccis Italian Restaurant/ Planet Fitness parking lot.
Stamp has no ink please bring your own
Clues:
Drive to the very back of the parking lot between the two buildings.
You will see a very inviting grassy hill and quite resting space. (Please note often workers on break are lounging here and occasionally guys are tossing a football)
Look to the right half of this grassy area and spot a large tree with a few large rocks sitting in front of it. Doesn’t this look like a great place to sit?
Here between the larger rock and a “tar” rock spot a crack filled with a bunch of little rocks. Move them carefully around to find your prize.
Please be sure to return him safely and well hidden. I am a little worried about traffic in this area and hope longevity will not be an issue.
