MISSING! :-(
What's in a name??
Locations all over the world are named after historical figures.
The location you're looking for is the building named for a pioneer to the Oregon Territory. It's a former public school in Portland named after the area's first school teacher who was
hired 3 years before Oregon became a state. At the end of this fellow's life, he was laid to rest at Lone Fir.
From the river separating the city, head east. Travel on the street that divides this half of the city between north and south. Turn north at seventy-four. Continue northward
until you locate the building with a big cerise sign in front.
Near the NW corner of this building, a namesake used to rest under rocks at a lone fir! The landscapers came and CUT DOWN the lone fir! So the rocks now are placed under the tree just north of the lone fir stump!
Please re-hide well.
