Time: ~1 Hour for single box or ~2 hours for both boxes.

Print the trail map and bring it with you. Trail Map.

Parking for this letterbox is on Topsfield Road, Ipswich, MA near the Footbridge going over the Ipswich River into Bradley Palmer State Park.

Main Clues

Hidden Mickey: Surfs up! Letterbox
Follow the trail past the metal gate and head straight ignoring all side trails until you reach Intersection 6. At Intersection 6 keep left on the main trail. Follow this trail from Intersection 6 for just a couple minutes. As the trail starts to go up you will see a large Pine on the right with a white blaze (blaze has B-Owl written on it). Slightly past the Pine and across the trail notice a Beech tree a little bit uphill in the woods. Hidden Mickey: Surfs Up! Is hidden behind the Beech tree under some rocks.

Return to Intersection 6. If you are heading back to your car keep right at Intersection 6 and follow this wide trail back to the parking area. If you want to get the Hidden Mickey: Takes a Bow letterbox follow the supplemental clues below from Intersection 6.

Supplemental Clues

To get to the Hidden Mickey: Takes a Bow Letterbox, turn left at Intersection 6 and make your way to Intersection 5. At Intersection 5 bear left and follow towards Intersection 4. You will not be going all the way to Intersection 4. In about 5 to 10 minutes the trail will take a wide sweeping turn to the right (you can identify it on the map). As the trail starts this turn you should see a very large 3-trunked Pine tree on the left. The Pine has a white blaze on the opposite side and is holding up a log. Across the trail from this Pine is another very large multi-trunked Pine that looks like Poseidon’s trident. The Hidden Mickey: Takes a Bow Letterbox is located at the base of this tree in a neat little cubbyhole.

To get back to your car, head back to Intersection 5 and bear right to Intersection 6. At Intersections 6 turn left and follow this main trail back to your car.
